How it works
The indicator begins by reading price through a pivot-based structure engine. These pivots are confirmed, which means they are not guessed in advance. A pivot only becomes valid after enough bars have closed to confirm that the swing is real. This creates intentional delay, but it also improves reliability because confirmed pivots do not shift around after the fact.
Once enough confirmed pivots exist, the script evaluates whether the developing structure matches the proportions required for a harmonic setup. It does not depend on one fixed manual sensitivity across all charts. Instead, the engine uses an adaptive multi-layer ZigZag framework so structure detection remains usable across different timeframes and chart conditions.
The Auto-Pilot mode automatically adjusts the effective ZigZag sensitivity to the active timeframe. For a beginner, this means you do not have to constantly re-tune the structure engine every time you move from a lower timeframe chart to a higher timeframe chart. The script attempts to keep the structural reading practical across different environments.
The Highlander filtering layer is then applied to reduce visual conflict. Harmonic charts often become messy because multiple candidate structures can appear at the same time, especially when several swing depths are being tracked. Highlander mode helps reduce this clutter by keeping the cleaner and more relevant structure visible when patterns overlap or compete for space on the chart.
The script then projects the likely D zone, but it does not immediately treat every projected pattern as actionable. This is one of the most important parts of the workflow.
A candidate pattern is first built from confirmed pivot geometry. After point C is formed, the script requires additional structural progression before treating the setup as confirmed. In practice, it waits for price to move through the B level after C has been established. This step is important because many weak or incomplete formations can appear visually convincing before they have shown enough structural continuation. By requiring B-level progression after C, the indicator filters out many premature candidates and focuses on setups that have advanced far enough to become more meaningful.
For someone new to harmonic trading, think of it like this:
First, the market forms a possible structure.
Then the script checks whether the shape and ratios are consistent enough to resemble a real harmonic candidate.
After that, it does not immediately assume the pattern matters.

How to read a setup

In other words, the B-level progression is not the final reversal entry by itself. It is a confirmation step that tells the trader the structure has matured enough to justify watching the projected D zone more seriously.
How to use it in practice
This tool is best used as a decision-support indicator, not as a blind signal machine.
A practical bullish workflow might look like this:

A practical bearish workflow is the same in reverse:

The trade setup is invalidated once the stop-loss level is breached.

WHAT CHANGED

This happened because TradingView loads a different number of historical bars depending on the user's plan, browser cache, and session timing. This update introduces a fixed lookback window. Instead of processing all available history, the indicator now only considers the most recent 500 bars for all internal state: ZigZag pivots, pattern overlap checks, cooldown timers, and SR/FVG zone tracking. Bars older than this window are discarded automatically.
The result is that all users viewing the same chart with the same settings will now see the same patterns, regardless of how many bars their TradingView session has loaded. We are excited to release a major visual and stability update to Harmonic PRZ [Malibu]! This update focuses on chart clarity and eliminating visual clutter while preserving 100% of our core mathematical XABCD detection engine.
Key Improvements in This Release:
Cross-Level Deduplication (Smart Anti-Overlap Guard):
The Issue: Previously, when multiple ZigZag depth levels (L1 Scalp, L2 Intraday, L3 Swing) identified the exact same harmonic structure at the same pivot location, multiple overlapping patterns (e.g., three identical Gartleys) were drawn on top of each other.
The Fix: Integrated an intelligent cross-level deduplication filter. If a confirmed pattern already exists at a specific C-pivot and PRZ region, duplicate pattern drawings from other levels are automatically suppressed.
Result: A pristine, uncluttered chart showing only the primary and most immediate pattern signal.
100% Core Engine & Ratio Integrity:
Absolute preservation of the XABCD detection core, candidate C search logic, Fibonacci ratio tolerances, and PRZ cluster mathematics. Signal generation accuracy remains fully intact.
Optimized Visual Focus:
Clean chart layout focused strictly on high-probability PRZ zones, Entry, Take-Profit, and Stop-Loss levels without any unnecessary visual clutter.
