RSI / Stoch / Stoch RSI (SRSI) Overlay [SigmaDraconis]

EOS / BitcoinBitfinex

Açıklama

Combines RSI, Stochastic and Stochastic RSI (SRSI) in only one indicator.

Most useful to better pick tops and bottoms on oversold and overbought levels.

I decided to write it since I felt the need to look at how all 3 behaved at once, relative to each.

Hi. Thank you for sharing your script. I just compared the elements of your indicator (RSI, Stoch and SRSI) one by one with Chris Moody's RSI, Stoch and SRSI scripts. The RSIs match perfectly but your Stoch and SRSI differ quite a lot from those Chris coded. What would be the reason for that? Many thanks!
SigmaDraconis
@MRZSKV HI there! I based mine on an existing one but I checked out the formula and matched/overplayed it against the base one and it matched perfectly.

Regarding Chris' one, I have to check it out but sometimes there's more than one equation to get the same result ;)

You're welcome to correct me if you find something wrong.

@SigmaDraconis, Hello, my freind. Thank you for your reply. I mentioned CM's scripts as they are the ones I've been using so far. Will look closer into the calculations Chris has made and let you know. I really like the idea you had of making a combo-indicator!
SigmaDraconis
@MRZSKV, Thanks, glad you liked it! I wanted access to both indicators so they take the space of only 1, you spare 2 precious ones with it. I have also 2 simple EMA crossing and a MAs gatherer indicators system that I didn't share yet (the one I have as a script is not the best one).

Again, I did test the SRSI and Stoch agains the default TradingView one's and when overlapped, they matched perfectly, so I assume they were right and that was good enough for me as a backtest to share it with the public, I hope it doesn't have glitches.

@SigmaDraconis, You definitely had a great idea at doing that script. I had a go ad doing one myself using CM's scripts and this is the result:

Let me know what you think.

Cheers!

@MRZSKV, Regular Stoch and SRSI are definitely different from Chris Moody's one. I like yours too but I never studied CM's scripts and way of doing it, he might have change some parameters or the formula. Mine are exactly like the default RSI/SRSI/Stoch from TradingView. What are the CM's Stoch/SRSI advantages/disadvantages? Do you know?
GoldenRatioTA
@SigmaDraconis, I'm not sure about the difference in the formula/parameters, tbh. The main reason why I always used those CM's scripts is their multi-time-frame feature.
