@dpanday, yes of course, instead of the plotshape function, use that as a alert condition, add it to you chart and set alert.

@dpanday, I had little time to backtest it, but I like to set alerts on it. What my goal with this is, is to add ATR volatility condition to it. So when volatility is very low, and there is a breakout on this indicator, then I want to get a buy/sell signal. I think that combination (ATR and breakout) could be very useful for automatic trading
