Investors Can Still File Late Claims in General Electric Settlement — Here’s How to Get Your Share
Court: S.D. New York
Case: 1:17-cv-08457
Investors can still file a late claim to receive payment from the $362.5M General Electric settlement.
What is this settlement?
In late 2017, General Electric faced scrutiny over financial mismanagement tied to its Power segment’s poor performance and long-term care (LTC) insurance reserves. A series of damaging disclosures, including a $6.2 billion charge for insurance reserves in January 2018, led to significant stock price drops and investor losses.
Following this, General Electric GE has agreed to settle by paying $362.5M to investors.
