GBP moved up as expected however, soon will lose it's momentum. Next week 3rd of May, UK holds snap elections. I predict conservative party to win which will finally trigger Brexit negotiations. Last time British people voted to leave EU, price of GBP moved down while gold moved up. I expect exactly the same to happen.
I would short GBP/USD or GBP/EUR and go long gold.
Moreover, 2nd round of French elections will be held in just few days after British elections. I predict E.Marcon to win that in turn will strengthen EU, EUR will move up pushing British currency to new lows.
