@CryptoJon101, If prices continue to decline or stay at this level during the actual halving event this means that miners will have their profits slashed by 50% and will probably have to shut down significant portions of their operations or go out of business. Difficulty will have to be adjusted. And with no demand for BTC that's already been mined, who's going to be there to buy their newly minted coins?
Have you factored in how most of the trading volume is fake?

@VanBenno, The halving is going to be a thing, yes... but how it will impact the market depends on many factors. The most important being the market context when it triggers. At the current given time NO ONE can forecast whatever will come after this volatile shock... Halving will be a question to deal with when the appropriate time comes. And I personally think that this time is still standing around mid-april, so one month from now.. until then we'll see how this event moves on with BTC prices.
