Why do you believe the rate hike would cause optimism? It only constricts fiscal policy further and they haven't stated when they may ever bring them down.

@kwood0319, 8-9% at this time its proportional of 75bps hikes so, slowdown will cause a breath of the market. Rate of change M2 says deflation so, we are going to something big the next year and some charts reflects the real end of a cycle. i know this is "unlikely" but the whole economy is a lie to follow the *official information* like the fed.
